These ladies have so much fun together:)
The parade is starting! This little boy lives across the street and he and Ava are great friends:)
Our good friend Eileen's headstone.
At the memorial day service. There were hundreds and hundreds of flags throughout the whole cemetery!
Waiting for the parade to start.
Audra and Ava:)
I have an awesome brother-in-law who goes up to every person he sees in uniform and thanks them for their service to our country. Daryl and I were really impressed that he did that so one time at the grocery store we saw a man in uniform with his wife and decided to do the same. It was a brief experience and the man said "You're welcome" giving Daryl a handshake, but man we came away with tears in our eyes. So next time you see someone in uniform, try going up to them and thanking them. You won't regret the wonderful feeling you'll feel thanking those who keep us free.
