Daryl took the kids on a "camping night walk" around our neighborhood a few nights ago. I stayed home because the baby was already asleep. Audra was sooo excited to go. She told me all about what they were doing and how when Aliya got older like her, she could go too. The house was very quiet as they shut the door. I stood at the window and watched them walk down the driveway and into the night, Audra with an obvious skip in her walk, fireflies dancing around them. And as I watched I just felt so grateful for them. I am not without trials and hardships in life, but man o man I am sure extremely blessed. And I am grateful that through Christ's Atonement life is colorful and beautiful and full of joy and so worth it.

This may be the sweetest thing I've ever read. I love the visual. I know those streets! Those fireflies. Those kids. Love you, sis.
Thanks for that post. We miss you guys a lot. And I especially love the optimism for life and hope and trust in God you radiate. Even through hard times. Love you!
